detect file duplicates based on something more specific like a checksum (in addition to what this does); filename, size, etc by *themselves* are too ambiguous.

Put a slider in along the bottom. Unless the window is opened up it is impossible to see the full path... and you have no idea what you're copying (if you have a long path).

Put the files from source on the left and destination on the right. That way it's easier to compare them. All good copy utilties work that way.

Add a hex viewer (shows attempted text display with line-for-line hex representing byte values) to assist identifying .tmp files and other files with incorrect extensions.

Make it possible for duplicate file finder to create real file system links (hard or soft/symbolic) to the original files. This way we could deduplicate large data files used by some applications which is currently not possible.

Keep the program just as it is.

Your team put such good filters and options that I honestly can't think of one thing I would change. Folks just need to play with it longer and they would see what I mean.

Make the program window confine itself to one monitor in a dual monitor setup. Right now, it opens half on one monitor and half on the other.

Being able to remove the lock of a duplicate file

after finding duplicates DB give the option to remove files, but one of them is locked, Usually in the place on the disk where I would like to delete, It will be good to have full control of the choice for files to delete

Menues function at least to have info baloon, for it to be more clear
